The B Akasaka

Superb service! Very good for families with small kids. Location is very walkable. You can easily get to the hotel by walking from the akasaka station, walk around the TBS building and take lift the up to 4th floor and walk straight to the hotel. We loved that they changed our towels and pjs everyday. My kids also enjoyed our stay. If I would go back and visit Tokyo again, I would stay at this hotel again. A good selling point too is the Harry Potter themed shops in the akasaka station for those Harry Potter fans like me and my daughter.

The property is away from the main road. Bus from the airport don't go there, unlike other hotels the bus drop you in front of the hotel. Very small room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Elevator accomodate only 5-6 people. Very outdated hotel, no restaurant on site,(only vending machine with noodle soup). The only plus on this hotel is the staff is friendly and coffee machine, I only drink black coffee and it is good. We will not stay on this hotel again.

We had a pleasant stay at The B Akasaka. The hotel location is very ideal; walkable to 3 different subway lines. Nearby there are a lot of restaurant options. The area around the hotel felt very quiet and safe. The rooms are spacious however be aware that for a booking for 4 people (2 adults and 2 children), only 2 regular twin sized beds and two pillows are supplied.

Great hotel, friendly staff! Top likes: laundry and dryer at the hotel itself (important for those travelling with kids), complimentary fresh coffee at lobby, very clean room. 2 things that weren't ideal (not bad comments just things that didnt suit us): its a 10mins walk uphill from the nearest train station (Akasaka station). We found a shortcut through the TBS building (there is a lift that public can use) but still a 5 min uphill walk from there. Also, strict rules on check in and check out times, which i think is common in Tokyo (you can check in early with a fee). Overall , love the place , definitely will stay here again. Beds were comfy for all 4 of us (2 adults , 9 yr old, 5 yr old).

Excellent Hotel, I have used the B chain before and if you need a safe, friendly, cheap and clean hotel you can't go wrong. This one is located a 2 minute walk to the main Akasaka shops, restaurants and underground allowing you to get anywhere around Tokyo with ease. The staff are welcoming and accomadated my request to have a single room for the first week then change to a twin for the arrival of a family member for the 2nd week and back to a single for the last day. It is located up a slight hill from the main area, however it's not an issue and there is a lift by the TBS building you can use to avoid the slight incline to get you down to the ground level. Overall great hotel and if I visit Tokyo again I will be using the B chain of hotels.
