The Iriomote Island Hotel HOSHITATE

I really enjoyed staying at hotel hoshitate. it's a great little hotel right on the beach run by a friendly family. the rooms are very clean and neat, the hotel serves delicious food, and Yuji the friendly owner speaks perfect english. i travelled solo and there were a couple of others also by themselves so you don't feel out of place like you can in other places. i recommend staying on iriomote island for a couple of days to really enjoy the beautiful nature it has to offer. apparently, the sunsets are amazing from this location but sadly it was overcast during my stay!

Friendly English speaking owner family treat you like you're also one of them. Foods and drinks reasonable and delicious in the restaurant. Just beautifully decorated and renovated recently.
