Hotel Orion Motobu Resort & Spa

Please try to separate individual visitors and tour group, the food is not so good as before and all foods are the same, if can provide room service will be perfect cuz no need to face the noisy china aunty, the last one, please allow to use the parking lot which close to the hotel, or it’s really too far for a child to walk around the hill under the night wind!

Stayed three nights at this resort hotel as a family with a young kid. It was very family-friendly. They provideed bibs and children’s eating utensils in restaurants. There was also a step stool in our room and we were given a bag containing kids’ amenities upon check-in. The room we had was spacious and gave a view of the sea. It was clean and had a number of user-friendly details, such as a drying rack for clothes and washing line over the bathtub. There were also two washing machines near the lifts. The breakfast buffet was good with a wide variety of western and Japanese food. We also had dinner at the Okinawan restaurant KARI one evening. The food was lovely and very reasonably priced. The Emerald Beach is just across the road from the hotel back entrance. As the water was too cold for swimming during our stay, we only played on the sand. There were also an outdoor pool and an indoor pool but we didn’t use them as they closed quite early at around 6pm. We also didn’t manage to enjoy the free beer in the afternoon since it was only available till 5pm. We tried the hot spring (onsen) one evening. It was quite nice but we only went once as we had to pay a fee each time we went. It would be great if they could offer a day pass so that one could enjoy the onsen at different times of the day. The onsen is supposed to have magnificent views of the sea but it was dark when we went.
