Suginoi Hotel

When I opened the window curtain of the room, Beppu welcomed us. In the village, the hot spring steam rose white and I could see the green mountains and the blue sea in the distance. If you are traveling with children and elderly people, you may stay in the Sorakan overnight. There is an open-air hot spring on the 13th floor of the Sorakan, so children and elderly people can move by elevator without walking much from their room to the hot spring. The hot spring water is smooth and the view of Beppu Bay is excellent. The terrace and dining buffet food on the first floor is also fresh and delicious. I hope you have a nice and healthy trip to Beppu safely

Great place for family with kids

We stayed in Niji kan, the new and western style tower, close to parking, pools and restaurant. The bed was extra large and sofa turns to bed as well. Very clean and comfortable, TV was a good size as well. It would accommodate many people, like a family with children. In fact there were many young families at the resort.we stayed for 2 nights, but I wish we stayed longer to do everything that they offer. Buffet had a lot of options and was "good". since it served large quantity of guests, the restaurant was big and sometimes hard to find items I wanted. The staff there were very polite, quick and helpful, very good service anywhere you go.

It was a very good stay we had. Free breakfast and dinner. The customer service exceeded my expectations! When we got to the hotel and got to the room, we didn’t like it coz it was outdated but when we asked if we can move to another room, no hesitations they gladly helped us and showed the room that was new and kid’s friendly room. We will definitely go back there in a few months. I highly recommend it to those who has kids with them it’s called Nin Ji Kan that’s their new building. Awesome! My regret is I wasn’t able to take a picture of the room. 😞 but I do give always an Honest review.

Excellent family get away. We had no idea what to expect but once we arrived we were blown away by the friendly staff and efficient service provided. We had to park in a separate building then take the shuttle bus but it was easy as the buses ran frequently. The hotel was very clean, the room spacious and well stocked. They provided kimonos and slippers in various sizes for use around the hotel which was a huge bonus. The breakfast and dinner buffet exceeded anything we could hope for as there was a huge variety of tasty foods provided. The hotel had plenty of things to keep our 5 and 3 year olds entertained, their favorite being The Aqua Garden with several nicely sized warm outdoor pools.

When checking into the hotel with my two children, I was informed by the customer service team that I would need to pay an additional fee. However, when I arrived at the front desk to check in, the extra amount they requested was higher than what the customer service representative had quoted me earlier. Fortunately, I had kept a record of my previous conversation with customer service, and was able to show this to the front desk staff to resolve the discrepancy. Otherwise, I would have had to pay more than I should have. I would recommend that the hotel provide relevant training to their front desk staff to ensure they are able to properly review a customer's past communication history with the hotel. This would help avoid any confusion or additional charges at the time of check-in. The hotel has great activities for kids to enjoy!

Hotel seemed to run very efficiently, despite it being very busy. Lots of entertainment options on site. Top floor onsen in Sorakan is very nice and provides wonderful views of the city. Would recommend for a family trip, but probably not for a romantic trip.

It’s a very kid and family friendly hotel! Plenty of things to do in the hotel itself. The service was excellent, we have a one year old and the staff is very helpful and detail oriented! The only thing is make sure you know which building your room is in so that you could drop off your luggage before going up to park, it could avoid the hassle of trying to get your luggage onto the shuttle bus after parking as you’ll be taking their shuttle bus to your building!
