Very nice hotel. My kids were very excited about our parting gift which was a nice touch. Staff were very friendly.

As always The Basic hotel delivers a phenomenal experience. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. At the beginning of check-in the staff immediately recognized our vip rewards. Which our room was then upgraded. My family and I would recommend this hotel to family and friends anytime. Thank you all for always giving us a great experience.

When I booked a room in this hotel, I have already marked my reservation for two adults and two kids under ten years old. However, there were only two pillows in the room upon my arrival. So I had asked the front desk for two additional pillows. The staff replied me that they have no more pillows in the whole hotel and were only able to offer me few pieces of towel for making up as a pillow. It was unbelievable that there is no spare pillow in one hotel. Later, someone put the pillows outside my room at night. At the last night of my stay, one of the four pillows disappeared. I called the CS hotline and the staff told me …. Kids are not counted as a person and they will only provide pillows to the adults. Sigh! How come the kids not being treated as a person and be provided with a pillow!!! If you don’t welcome the kids to stay, u can simply reject the booking or mark clearly. Ridiculous and unacceptable!

Two family mart nearby

There is no wardrobe and not a single cabinet in the room to put our stuff. There are only 3 hangers. We asked for additional but surprisingly, the hotel refused to give us more. We are a family of 3 and the room has only one chair and a small coffee table. It’s fine if you stay for 1-2 nights but we stay for 6 nights. Other than that, the hotel is convenient and clean.

Highly recommended. Rooms are ver spacious and it is an approximate five min walk to hakata station where there are malls and lots of eateries. There is a family mart 10 secs away from The hotel and distance to airport by taxi is 10 -15 mins.
