Vessel Inn Chiba Ekimae

Due to the challenges of booking a hotel in our preferred Tokyo area during peak season, my family and I decided to stay in Chiba instead. We chose this hotel for its affordability and convenient location between our travel points. The hotel is only a 5-10 minute walk from Chiba station, where you can find many shopping malls and restaurants, some of which are similar to those in Shinjuku. However, it's important to note that the room is very small. If you need to stay in room for long, it might not be very comfortable. However, if you're just looking for a place to sleep, it provides excellent value for the price. Staff in this hotel doesn't speak English, so communication can be difficult if you don't know Japanese.

We have stayed at Vessel hotel in Kyoto 2 years ago and loved it very much. When we saw this in Chiba with no review, we kind of hesitant at first, but since this was the only hotel that could accommodate us with 2 adults and 2 kids in one room with the rate that fit our budget, we just went ahead. We dId not expect to walk in to a brand new hotel that’s only less than 2 months old. What a pleasant surprise! There’s nothing I don’t like about this hotel. Great location with plenty of restaurants right across from the main road. 5 min walk from Chiba train station. Great public bath on the 3rd floor. No guest would be allowed to enter the elevator without a valid room key. Restaurant is small, but the selection of food is excellent, not to mention 12 and under is free if accompanied by a paying adult. Friendly staff who offered great help if you are new in the area. I’d highly recommend this property. Will definitely come back to stay again. Thank you, Vessel hotel group!
