Hotel Ai Cavalieri di Venezia

We had a junior suite with terrace at the end of April and the room was an oven, despite it only being in the low 60s outside. We had to sleep with the windows open which let in mosquitos that bit us all night long. Front desk said the air conditioning wouldn't be turned on for a couple weeks so I wouldn't recommend this hotel in April or May. Perhaps a first floor room would be ok. Otherwise the front desk staff were very pleasant and the hotel is nice enough. Also wouldn't recommend taking the private boat to Murano to the glass blowing showroom when i showed some interest in a vase I was soon getting what felt like a used car saleman pitch. Not worth the free trip.

Hotel Ai Cavalieri was absolutely wonderful! Our family of four loved our stay, and would certainly come back again. The Venetian furnishings were simply elegant and the staff was courteous and very helpful.

This property is everything you'll need for a great trip to Venice. Re-designed from an old Venetian grand home, this hotel is classy, comfortable, professional and beautiful. We stayed in junior suite #201 and it was palatial with a very large terrace overlooking a canal. It was spacious and clean, comfortable and relaxing. The morning breakfast had vast traditional and fresh offerings and the staff was attentive and spot-on! Location of the hotel is ideal and central to everything Venice offers. We will be back.
