BV Grand Hotel Assisi

I dont know how this can be close to a 4 star hotel. Lousy customer service/relations as well as this property is run down. A piece of heavy door molding came off the wall and hit my young daughter in the foot and scared us all. We called the lobby, someone came up and looked at us like we did something intentional. We were no where near it, other pieces had been screwed in, so apparently this has happened before! If my daughter was a few inches closer, she would have been seriously injured. The did not apologize or even assist us putting in to an unprepared room. Of course we checked, and it also had loose molding, we put a chair up against it to help prevent that one from falling on us. To top it all off, we were chased out of the pool because we did not have swimming caps on. THERE WAS NO SIGNAGE INDICATED THIS WAS REQUIRED! We were in the process of leaving anyway because others were going in the pool without showering and there were actual used band aids floating in the water. How disgusting. This pool area too out is dated/decrepit and it has no shallow part where kids can stand on the bottom. Noisy Small room..
