Starhotels Tuscany

I did not like the surprise added fee for having a 2nd person in the room. Although we were located on the 9th floor, you could hear alarms and sirens going off all night. the air conditioner was very ineffective. It did not cool down the room. I was supposed to receive a bottle of wine. I had to go back to the front desk to request it instead of giving it to me upon check in. The front desk clerks were not very helpful even after explaining this was our first time in Florence. They were not very helpful and didn't offer any suggestions on things to do or see or where we could eat lunch or dinner. These people weren't very friendly at all. We did not feel welcome or comfortable in this hotel. I don't think I will return to this hotel nor will I recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

This hotel had beautiful rooms and very clean. I felt very comfortable staying here. Would stay here again. I booked a family room so two rooms that had separate entrances, but connected. Front desk was easy, to the point, friendly and polite.
