Although the rooms in this hotel are pretty modest and slightly outdated, the pool area, the grass area in the back of the hotel, the kids jumpy houses area and the beautiful scenery surrounding the hotel make this place a very pleasant place to stay in Riva del Garda. Breakfast was truly amazing and the staff was kind and professional. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. In my opinion, having a car certainly make the stay a lot more comfortable and manageable, since this hotel is not located in the center of Riva del Garda.

About a 30 minute walk to the lake, but contains everything you might need including a pool. Especially great for kids with a water slide and outdoor room to play.

Tranquil setting, glorious views, lovely pool. Large selection of continental breakfast. Lots of activities for kids (inflatables, trampoline, table tennis, swings, pool). Staff were lovely and very helpful. Great access to Rive del Garda, Torbola and Dolomites.

The hotel as a whole was Ok. The problem for us was that the room was on the top floor, in the roof, and it was very small. Also the balcony had a high wall so you couldn't see the lovely mountain view when sitting down at the table. These problems may not apply to some of the other rooms but they were unable to move us due to being full. The other negative was that the bed was rock hard. Apart from these problems, this is a decent, modern hotel with a good breakfast, good pool, various activities for kids like table tennis, trampoline and bouncy castles, and also a wellness centre (which we didn't use). In the room, there was a minibar and tea making facilities. Also bear in mind that this hotel is a long way from the town centre. We had a car so not a problem. There is lots of car parking space.

Great hotel near Riva del Garda -
We chose Hotel Campagnola for the reasonable price and great location beween Arco and Riva del Garda. We hoped to do quite a bit a climbing, hiking, water sports, and exploring in both cities and this hotel was well situated between the two. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the very friendly staff, Roberto, and offered a long list of activities, rentals, etc. Though a modest price, our room had an incredible view of the mountains to the west and made for lovely evening wine on the balcony.
Though the hotel is not as fancy as some, the hospitality of all the staff, beautiful location, laid back atmosphere, and bike rentals, made up for that. The staff was always so friendly and talkative with us, despite any language barriers. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning, free bike rentals multiple times, and the pool. There was also a nice evening atmosphere with the world cup games going on.
This hotel was also very nice for families, though we traveled as a couple. Lots of fun things for kids. I would absolutely stay here in the future for all of the reasons listed above. We really enjoyed our stay!

In my opinion Rive del Garda is not the best location for your Lake Garda stay but this hotel was ok. The pool was nice and clean and there was a really good children's play area with table tennis, fussball table etc. Breakfast was also exceeded our expectations and free parking was a plus.
