Palace Hotel San Michele

The website showed photos of an indoor pool. We booked this trip with 3 kids u dear 18. The pool is part of the spa... which is not open to anyone under 18... but this was not specifically stated regarding the pool. Also... the website says there is a shuttle to the beach... no shuttle during Covid. It’s a long drive down the mountain. The water pressure in our rooms was terrible! The showers were small and no water pressure.

Very nice hotel on the outskirts of mont sant angelo (outskirts being a 5 min walk to dead center historic parts) with a wonderful view. We got a large room with a balcony with a wonderful view of the bay. The room had one section with a sliding door so the kids had their “section” and we had ours. Bathroom were clean. I loved the towels. The pool area was large and well maintained - the only issue was that the pool wasn’t heated and even though it was very warm in the air the pool was a little cold - even for the kids. The wifi was - as in so many places - over complicated. They give out free codes which some worked and some didn’t. Nothing major. When you could connect I walked into the hall and unplugged/plugged the local doorway router and then it worked again. The only “major” hic-up was breakfast logistics. You’ll find most things you expected to eat but the efficenency in cleaning tables, seating and so on have room for improvement.
