Villa e Palazzo Aminta Hotel Beauty and SPA

It's living off of its old glory and location. The view is spectacular but other than that, it doesn't have much to offer. The property is outdated and lacks 5 star luxury throughout. The staffs were not trained properly (most seemed very young, under trained seasonal employees with lack of hospitality experience.) Concierge was clueless and the general manager was rude and inconsistent. The pool is too cold to swim (in late August) so our young children could not enjoy the area at all. Rooms are tiny and extremely outdated and dark. There is nowhere to walk around the property (hotel offers very limited shuttle service to and from Stresa) and it's really dangerous to cross the street to the lake side (corner traffic but no mirrors or crosswalk to ensure safety). Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and surprising this is a part of LHW.
