Hotel La Palma

Thw hotel is ok but we got a room without elevator and we were with a baby so we could use our stroller. It was not written in hotels and was only mentioned in the room specific page within the hotel website

We recently stayed at the Hotel La Palma in Stresa for a week. It was beautifully situated on the main lakeside road and only a 5 minute walk to the centre of Stresa. Although it was on the main road it was still very quiet inside. The swimming pool was across the road by the lake. Some people seem to think this was a negative but we found the location provided stunning views across to the Borromean islands. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, and were able to give us advice about travelling around the area by public transport. Stresa itself is a lovely little town with a buzzling centre. We ate in the restaurants there every night and our favourite was Cafe Torino which seemed to be a family-run restaurant. The food was excellent, home cooked pasta being particularly good, and we were greeted like friends. We loved Stresa and would definitely go back to the Hotel La Palma.
