Bristol Palace Hotel

We stayed a couple of nights and loved it. Front desk staff were pleasant, efficient and helpful. The hotel is very centrally located, and just a short stroll from the Old Town. That said the hotel itself was oozing character from a bygone era, albeit now tastefully equipped with all modern conveniences. We'd take one of the elevators to our room, but used to walk down the stairs to admire the architecture and ceiling. The room itself was huge, spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished, with lots of storage. Also had TV, kettle, etc, safe, sofa and a large bathroom attached. Enormous terrace outside with table and two chairs and a view of the street, several stories below. Despite being on the street, the room was exceptionally quiet. One time we exited our room and from the corridor could hear a baby crying in the room next to ours. While in our room we didn't hear anything. We didn't use the restaurant in the hotel, as we went to Old Town for all our meals. If we were returning to Genoa, would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Lovely hotel with memorable staircase as it main feature. Within walking distance of main attractions as well as the train station. Good sized family room and great breakfast.

Stayed 3 nights with our family. Historic looking yet modern comforts. The Ambiente and the staff created such a positive vibe. Our stay will not be forgotten, neither will be the charming welcome and service at breakfast to start the day. And the airconditioning - in August

Fabulous historic building updated with modern convenience. Great location close to train/ metro stations and restaurant area. Has a wonderful balcony restaurant serving one of the best meals I had in Genova. I’d highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Arrived in Genoa and located the Bristol Palace Hotel on the edge of the old city. Took advantage of valet parking right at the front door and, after an easy check-in, settled in well. It is a family friendly hotel that is on the higher end but with an amazing location. Great walking distance to old city, sights such as Christopher Columbus’s house and only a little further to the waterfront. Excellent breakfast in the morning.
