The Boutique Hotel

Excellent location of Vatican side of the Tiber River. Just a 10 minute walk to Vatican Museum or St. Peter’s Square. Close to restaurants and shopping. A 20 minute walk to points of interest on other side of river. Quieter area with less tourists. Staff very nice. Clean rooms. A little boutique hotel with all you need. Accommodated our family of 4!

We have a had a very good stay in this hotel Rooms are clean, convenient for family stay with interconnecting rooms. The bed and pillow are very comfortable and the cleaning service is good. We had an issue with hot water but this was fixed by the hotel within 24 hours and they arranged for temporary solution. The only negative is noise isolation, you can easily hear others in the nearby rooms. Location is very good, safe and walking distance from the Vatican and a lot of dining option around. Also not far from old city. metro is 8 minutes walk. Overall i recommend.

The hotel is located in a building. When you arrive you are a bit lost Since you need to enter through a second door. The gate is locked and you are given a key so you are able to access the building after 8pm Since the reception will be closed. They have an antique elevator that only 3 people fit at the time. The rooms have a weird smell and the sheets are dirty. Also, for our luck the hot water boiler broke and we woke up with a big puddle of water in the middle of the room. Therefore, there was no water when we woke up to use the bathroom. When I went up to receptionist, they said that they would have the problem fix in the afternoon and there was nothing they can do. Has a Human being you Need to use a bathroom as soon as you wake up and brush your teeth. Mind you I have a toddler with me and they didn’t even care. When I asked for a refund, it was denied and there was no other room for me and my family. The only good thing I have to say about this place is that is in a very good location. But if you want to be more comfortable as a family, this is not the place for you. This is more for couples only.
