Navona Theatre Hotel

The hotel itself was great - room easily accommodated our family of 4, and the staff were some of the best we had come across in our European tour. Taxi/Uber can't drop you to the door due to entrance being in an alleyway. Most would drop you in neighbouring roads, but on our arrival the taxi dropped us on the other side of Navona square with our suitcases and told us he couldn't take us any further and to walk across the square and to find the hotel. I suspect we had one of the worst drivers on arrival (also tried to overcharge us/demand cash). Handy to Navona square and many many great restaurants. No issues walking to lots of attractions including the Colosseum. Only downside is we found the surrounding area to be quite dirty, lots of litter and graffiti and on first arriving didn't feel that safe. We felt safer over the days and the dirt/litter/graffiti seemed to be all over Rome so not isolated to this area. One of the biggest issues in the neighbourhood was the sound of rubbish being removed and people in the alleyways during the night.

A real pleasure to stay at the Navona theater hirk for the first time with my family. A warmful welcome from all the staff (special thanks to Marco, Fadi, Karim). I strongly recommend it for family time and the location is ideal to do all key places by foot. 😊😊
