Hotel Sole Splendid

We had a family room, which overlooked the sea and hotel was across the street from the beach. Family room has two bathrooms (1 with a sink, toilet and a bidet, the other bath with a shower and a sink only). 2 chairs and an umbrella could be rented for €20/ day. Hotel staff were friendly, breakfast was plentiful and rooms were clean. Hotel was located at the end of a street within walking distance to restaurants and bars. 20 minute walk from Maiori Port if you take the Ferry.

Nice hotel with a great view. Clean bathrooms and it’s beachfront. Breakfast was good. Only negative was the air conditioner drips water on the floor. Other than that it felt safe and clean. I would recommend to family and friends.

The view is perfection! We loved listening to the waves to fall asleep. It was fantastic. The staff is super helpful, insight parking was a huge bonus, and the breakfast was a hit with the entire family. We also loved being at the end of the strip where it was quieter. We could visit the busy sections and return to our quieter hotel to relax. Perfect for our traveling family.

We stayed in a family room sea view room. Excellent view, clean and comfortable. The staff was so friendly, and the breakfast was great. This is a place to stay for anyone who seeks relaxation.

Hotel Sole Splendid is in a prime location and is ideal for families wanting a beach holiday on the Amalfi Coast. A couple of amenities that Wotif showed did not exist - the hotel does not have a bar and there is no 24 hour room service. Additionally the mini bar fridge doesn’t come with any refreshments…. it’s just an empty fridge. The hotel bills itself as 4 star …. It’s more 3 star at best. Note also the local authority starts their garbage collection and street cleaning from this hotel’s end of beach at early hours of the morning so it gets noisy at 5 am.
