County Arms Hotel

We stayed in the new family bedroom with a bunk bed. Needless to say my kids were delighted. Room furnished to a very high quality. We also really enjoyed the pool. Staff were excellent. Will definitely come back

All the staff from front of house, housekeeping & restaurant & bar staff were incredibly charming & helpful. Excellent food, the breakfast would keep you going all day. The pool looked great. Kids club was a surprise, although we heard about this from a guest. Had we have been told about it when we arrived, we would have booked the kids in for sure. They would have loved to hang out with the other children at the hotel. Will definately go back next year for Easter.

Just stayed there Friday night with elderly mother and 2 boys aged 3 and 4. Requested family room...luckily specified double and 2 singles which we got but squashed into normal size room...definitely not a family room as I was told. One of my boys has sensory issues so I bring food when I travel with him but no fridge in room so had to throw out food...a 4 star hotel with no fridge in room...i get it you don't want people brining own booze or something but this is not acceptable in a " famiky" room. No children's type food at breakfast...all presented for adults. Terribly unsafe glass topped coffee tables everywhere...lobbies and in corridors...how anyone thinks these are safe I don't know. Overall not a family friendly hotel really despite being billed as ideal for family breaks. Disappointed and would not recommend to my many friends with young children.
