Hillgrove Hotel

Had previously stayed in hillgrove with family. Had another wonderful stay. Pool brilliant for children. Food amazing. Thanks again for another wonderful stay

Hotel is ok rooms are a bit tired disappointed we were not informed that use of the spa was not included with our stay. We used the leisure facilities which were extremely busy with young families and went to the spa the next morning. The Spa was not as clean as I would expect but we did have treatments which were excellent.

All I can say why would a Hotel place a single business traveller in a room where direct below is a children’s playground, I love the sound of children playing and as a father of 4 , I really don’t mind. However !! when the children are allowed to play in the playground until 11.20pm I made the reception aware at 9.35pm of the noise and it continued until 11.20pm I just find it totally unacceptable not just for me but for other guests who are trying to sleep. For the amount of money I paid for one night £125.00 all I expected was a room where I could rest and sleep without being disturbed, I was also told as I left the Hotel this morning the management would call me as of 17.30pm I am still waiting for a call. This was my 3rd and final stay at this hotel

We booked the honeymoon suite to start off our first few days as husband and wife and were bitterly disappointed. There was mould on the wall and throughout the night the lights kept coming on. There were alot of children running around our floor and the floor was shaking everytime they passed the door. The shower kept cutting off (lack of pressure) and when i mentioned the issues at checkout it was completely dismissed.
