Breaffy House Hotel

The hotel itself is fabulous, beautiful setting and wonderful grounds. The food for all meals was exceptional, but there was a bit of a delay with one of our kids meals. The rooms were spotless and beds really comfortable. A couple of issues, was the very noisy hallways at night, doors banging very loudy and children and adults very noisy up and down the hallways. The hall and stairs carpets badly needed to be hoovered and this didn't improve over our stay. The pool was quite cool but the changing areas were great. The staff were all very friendly and we would stay again.

Our stay was lovely but our bathroom could have been cleaner and updating is really needed . Found hair in bath tub when we arrived kinda off putting .. but overall we really enjoyed the stay our room was very spacious , which is lovely when u have 3 children

We love everything this hotel has to offer for our family. It has everything you need for an enjoyable family break. Beautiful location, great food and a lovely atmosphere. We were very happy with our stay. Never one to complain I wish the hotel would install new door stoppers to prevent the room doors closing so loudly, that’s the only negative issue we had. Constantly hearing doors closing so loudly is not what you want to hear while on a break. Overall a lovely hotel

Stayed in the summer, ideal for families and wedding maybe not a hotel for a business stay Facilities on offer excellent for a holiday stay. food delicious and service first class just too busy and noisy

This hotel is a beautiful and comfortable stay for a family. The staffs there were friendly and the service was brilliant. I would go there again.

Wonderful stay and kids loved the swimming pool and staff very helpful. Get places to eat in hotel, no need to Travel outside the hotel for food! Myself and two kids really enjoyed our stay

This was a truly horrific stay. A wedding reception was at the hotel that day and guests ran riot that night. For some insane reason management decided not to segregate wedding guests and my family was subjected to a night from hell. We literally got no sleep and despite repeatedly calling the porter and begging him to do something or call the police nothing changed. Young men running around corridors shouting and kicking doors, women screaming, loud music being played, fire alarms being set off, smoke filling the room and corridor, golf buggies being driven around outside the hotel at 4 am. I could list 101 other incidents. This went on all night until 7 am. The next morning the manager, a pathetic individual, said nothing could have been done to prevent this, nor for that matter, prevent a repeat in the future. He also blamed the police saying it was their fault for not coming to the hotel to sort out the offenders. He also said that drugs were involved! This is supposedly a family hotel. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels for work and recreational reasons but never experienced anything like this where I had to barricade the door of my bedroom for fear of what was going on outside the door. I was there with my wife and two small children and I was scared for their safety. We would have left in the middle of the night but we were terrified of what we would have encountered if we had tried to leave. The management and owners of this hotel should be ashamed of themselves.
