Hotel is very basic and dated. The tvs in the room where that old we couldn’t watch movies on the fire stick. We were put in an interconnecting room, so we could pretty much hear every conversation next door. The kids enjoyed the pool. Very lifeless hotel. Beautiful gardens though. Staff were not very friendly either. Some beautiful beaches and walks in co Louth. All in all would not stay again.

It was a nice stay. I found the room a bit warm, and the duvet a bit warm so didmt sleep well but itherwise it was a good stay. The breakfast was lovely. We were offered a mini fridge/ cooler to keep our babys bottles cool, but it sas not cold enough. The restaurant was very expensive at 45 euros for 2 courses so we didnt eat dinner there.

Stayed as a family and loved the place. Location and grounds were excellent, food was amazing and probably the best kids swimming pool I have seen around. Will certainly stay here again!

A birthday getaway, very nice setting and very comfortable hotel. Nice bar/restaurant, very busy for a sunday afternoon but good atmosphere. Room was very spacious, with plenty of room for a seating area. All very clean and tidy. We were very impressed with the room. Didn't try the leisure facilities but would go back for family stay to try. Would recommend for a quick break and handy getaway.

Great experience in newly refurbished Ballymac going there since l was 5 years old. New owners have ensured it still has that family run feel which l hope it never loses. Great service food and facilities.

Staff were very friendly and accomadating. It was a family group and I requested 3 rooms together and close to the reception as some members have limited mobility and got exactly what I'd asked for. only request is children's menu (for my teenagers) was limited
