Hotel was conveniently located, walkable for pretty much everything. The Titanic Experience was out the door to the left and across the street. The first afternoon after we checked in and wanted to relax (as it was pouring rain), but kids at a wedding there were running up and down the halls which was noisy on the wooden floors. Everything else was grand!! 😊👍

Room was at the rear, bathroom in great condition, room less so, bed a bit bouncy, with the floor creamy and not level. Reception very pleasant, but dining space very limited. For some reason the hotel only uses a small bar for dining rather than the main dining room, consequently could not feed us in the evening. Sadly lack of space for breakfast left us next to an unfortunate noisy family so we didn't take breakfast either. However would happily stay there again. Architecturally the hotel is elegant and in the days around the Titanic etc was probably prestigious. Faded glory. The views from rooms at the front must be great.

Location was great being central in Cobh. Staff was friendly. Parking was a nightmare. I had to drive around for 45 minutes to find a spot and the car park for the hotel was full. Be forwarned that this is an old building with very few updates. Bathroom was very cramped - stall shower, no shelves in the shower, no counter space. Room smelled musty and the floor had a definite sag to it so half the furniture stood with a lean. Felt a bit like I was in a fun house. Only 2 outlets in the whole room, and very cramped. Couldn't have used the wardrobe without moving furniture out of the way. There was a lift to get to my floor, but then I had to go back down some stairs and a very cramped halway to get to my room which was a little inconvenient. Walls are very thin, and I could hear everything when the people upstairs came in around midnight. In summation, probably not a place I would stay again or recommend to friends and family.
