Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, Race Course, Coimbatore

We stayed one night with family and children, safe, quiet and convenient room. Will recommend this hotel and will stay here again.

The stay was comfortable I was with my infant child and the staff was helpful especially Gowtham and Sneh at the restaurant helping us out for the food for the child. They were ready to prepare anything special for the child which was more than enough to make our stay comfortable

The design of the wash basin, toilet and bathroom is not helpful for families. it was an inconvenience.

The food was the worst part of the stay. 1. Ordered baby food to the room and it was stale. Although they replaced it, it would have made baby sick if we haven’t tasted first . 2. Breakfast is better in a 3-star restaurant than here. 3. Milk tasted as if they added lots of water and tasted very bad. Totally disappointed with the food. Mentioned this during checkout but they still charged for the baby food. Room: 1. There was no hand shower in the bathroom which made it very difficult for giving shower to the baby 2. There was no hot water kettle or coffee maker in the room

The hotel is about 30 mins from the Airport, and located in a good neighborhood (race course road), the hotel is well maintained, rooms are clean, staff are efficient, and friendly. The bed is comfortable, and we were able to get some good sleep, though we had to get a roll-away bed as we were a family of 4. Breakfast buffet is good, but they could add more items. Overall, I will highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel does not qualify for 5 star standards- for room space less for a family, parking space is less..so only valet parking, restaurant is exorbitantly priced, Bar menu is only for printing where most of the items are not available, does not provide ambience and character of a 5 star hotel, I doubt the fire safety aspect of the bulilding, power switches are very confusing....over all does not fit to be categorised as 5 star hotel. Only highlight is location. Staff are good enough.
