I stayed in Rivulet with the good review and rating but my experience was not so good (specially the guest service and security).
1). I found the lack of security and our personal belonging (Shoes of all my family members) got completely damaged by wildlife animal overnight. I was expecting all such things to be informed to all guest when they check-in but that was not taken care. I also requested at reception to discuss this matter with manger and onsite manager didnt even bother to speak to me once.
2) Boat ride is no longer available because they lost boat in flood last year. Really??
3) None of the tanduri items are available because there tandoor is no longer working.
4) Location is too off the main road and reaching to resort is a big project (Specially in night).
5) Complementary Breakfast was good.
Overall, I had a bad experience (Mainly because of the guest service) and will hardly stay in this resort in future (Guest service matter alot for me when on vacation).

People here are co-operative and friendly. Perfectly hospitable. Restaurant is decent. Recreational activities are quite good. We enjoyed carom board, archery and cards along with other games available for kids.
Coming to negatives - Rooms are not clean. Lot of spider webs. Bed Linen are having stains. Service is very slow (well there is a reason behind it. They have reception and kitchen on one side of road and rooms on other sides of road.) They have separate Cots. They claim it to be a queen bed or king bed. But that's not the case. They provide separate cots joined together for couple and family guests. Moment you get on the bed, there is gap in between.
Location is good.
Given above, whatever they charge for a royal suite, isn't worth at all. If they are charging anything below 4K, it's good. Doesn't worth a single rupee over and above that.

Only facility you miss is swimming pool. Good for a family holiday with kids.
