Resort Rio

They charge way to much for food and drinks, plus to many rule to have to obey like ladies have to wear certain types of clothing in the pool, and you can not bring any item of food or drink back to the hotel or allow any visitor up to you room. The free wi fi is crap it is way way to slow as they want you to pay more for the better high speed package. Also the ratio of single man to families and couples is to high with these man just sit by the pool look at the ladies a bit creepy made my partner uncomfortable. WILL NOT BE BACK.

We planned for the Goa trip again after 4yrs and were confused which hotel to stay. Based on the previous experience we went again with Resort Rio and I must say they didn't disappoint at all. In fact I could recognize most of the staff which speaks a lot about the staff retention and happiness quotient among them. Being a returning customer we were upgraded to bigger room with awesome view as a complementary (thanks Durgesh for the gesture), We really appreciate this gesture. When we thought they were done they surprised us with the welcome cake in the room, talking about hospitality and the care they took. The hotel staff called us everyday to ensure that we were taken care of nicely. Overall I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Ideal if travelling with kids (we had two small ones to mend). Very courteous staff, excellent food and lavish as well as sumptuous breakfast spread. The House keeping staff were very prompt and ensured that they cleaned the mess which our kids enjoyed a lot making. Location wise too this hotel is ideal being close to Baga beach, Tito's lane (most happening place in Goa with all the clubs around) and Calungute beach as well as market. The property is worth staying with excellent swimming pools and lots of in-house amenities. One of the best place to stay near Baga beach and the most happening place in Goa!!

RIO RESORT - FIVE STAR RESORT ... Luxury Home away from Home ... It was the most wonderful time we spent from 26th to 30th OCT 2011 at RIO RESORT. The Resort was Excellent - Larger than Life , Well Designed Resort with Italian & roman look interiors and exteriors , 3 Bars , 4 Restaurants and Special Gujarati n Marwadi Food at JALSA Pure Veg Restaurant .800 Square Feet Deluxe Rooms with Marvelous Interiors & Huge Bathrooms and each balcony facing wonderful view of back waters or pool side. Since our entrance we were greeted by each staff members as if Guest is God... Each Staff Members treated us as VIPs, Mr Durgesh at Hotel Reservation was very very kind n co-operative to make my wife birthday on 28th Oct very special arranging complimentary huge cake along with Romantic Decoration of Flowers, Laser lights Effects, Towel Art Work in my room making our day romantic, They also organised Pool Sight Dinner at 12 Evening for a couple to celebrate the Birthday. The Food starting from Morning Breakfast, Evening Buffet with numerous Buffet items was mouth watering,, The Food Court Members Mr Joel & Mr Bosco were very friendly and always smiling making our food special . The Swimming pool was beautifully designed with a Bar on it n Mr Manigopal the swim pool incharge was very friendly.... When the staff members of resort are friendly, it makes our stay special and comfortable. We really enjoyed our Aroma Therapy Massage & steam bath at ZAARA the massage lounge. I was told by staff members that the owners are Gujarati like us and the owners treat all their staff members as family members which motivated each staff members to work devotionally to their Resort which is special... I would definitely book my next stay of Goa at RIO RESORT only as it was Excellent to stay in that FIVE STAR RESORT.
