Volcano hotel

We spent one night here during our visit to the South. Volcano Hotel is a really nice family run hotel, it’s in a very quiet location. Rooms are a decent size clean and comfortable. The owner are very nice and the food was really good!! Definitely would stay there again!

Nice family owned business located in a scenic area right before you hit the home stretch going into Vik. The vibe is amazing and if you are looking to relax, this is your spot. Excellent service with a personal touch. Get the lamb for dinner there, it’s the owners recipe and was delightful. One of the best stays we had while traveling Iceland.

We had a lovely stay at the Volcano Hotel. It was a clean, comfortable, quiet and quaint hotel with very comfortable beds for my family of three. It was conveniently located just outside Vik right on the ring road midway between Reykjavik and Jokulsarlon where we went to see the Glacial lagoon. The staff were friendly and helpful in providing and adapter plug for our USA plugs. The included breakfast was welcome and hearty. There is a must see Black Sand beach nearby to see puffins and the basalt causeway seen in GOT. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Volcano Hotel. We had a family room. There was plenty of space for 4 adults. The room was clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was convenient and the food was good. We would stay there again.

We stayed for one night . Had a beautiful double/2 twins room. 10 foot ceilings. Big bathroom very clean and quiet. Slept like a baby on the comfy bed. Beautiful views out the front right down to the ocean. Sheep up the hill in the back and front! Vik was a 10 minute ride at most. We had breakfast included in our stay. Good selection of items. They even cook eggs to order. Great place to stay near Vik. Right by the black sand beach and lighthouse overlook!

Staff is very nice . Kitchen is very clean. Breakfast was delicious. My kids loves the breakfast. Room is very clean. The hotel was surrounded by greenland. Very quiet and beautiful
