We loved the hot tubs and our family room. Very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent!

I loved how unique this property was. From river behind the hotel, to the hot tubs, to the greenhouse breakfast room... the property and hotel is so unique!! We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tubs, and the breakfast was SO delicious!!! We had two rooms, the river view and the twin room (for our kiddos). The rooms were a bit smaller than average, but the hotels' other features allow us to overlook it. We LOVED the river hot springs walk the next morning. Areas to improve: There could be improvements on maintenance items and cleanliness around the ground of the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and wished we stayed another night both at the hotel and in the area.

The location of the hotel was in a convenient spot for the golden circle. 15 mins away from Selfoss and about 40 to Reykjavik. Such a beautiful spot with great places to visit and walk around the city is very small but the food around here was really good. My only complaint would be that there was no fridge that we saw perhaps we missed it and there was no microwave. Other than that pleasant experience for me and my family.
