This was the worst stay of our trip by far! It relies on its location. The room we received was terrible. The light did not work, the TV did not work, the phone to reception did not work. I think you get the idea. We had a family room, the single bed was comfortable, however the double bed had about 6 inches less cushion on the mattress. It was creaky, lumpy and uncomfortable, not what you expect for a room costing well over £300 per night! The belts on the included bath robes was frayed to the point where my wife thought it may have been attacked by rats. The hot tub/sauna at the hotel was good, but the tiles were super slippery! Not sure how someone thought that the tile choice was good for the floor in a busy area with water, but again these same tiles are used in the bathroom, which again was slippy. Breakfast (costs extra) was a saving grace. It was very good. I am unsure how this place gets so many great reviews? Externally, it is stunning, but the room left an awful lot to be desired for the price! Over £300 and they couldn’t check the light or make sure all beds had the newer, more comfortable mattresses. It was the hotel we were looking forward to most and the one that left us most disappointed. I would never stay here again and unless you are here on a bus tour, etc. I would never recommend anyone else do so either!

The hotel is very modern and it is the ONLY place in the area for food or drinks. You really don't have other options than to eat the breakfast buffet and make reservations for dinner. The food was really good but pricey. It is also a stop for groups and families so, because of the size of the property there are a lot of people. It was also a short 5 min drive to see the Northern Lights and it was conveniently located.

Loved loved loved staying here! We stayed 2 nights and the executive suite was perfect for our family of 4 (kids had to share a bed in living room but it was comfy). The hot tub on the balcony was amazing for star gazing and looking for Northern Lights. Great remote location. Gorgeous oversized windows and high ceilings. Huge bathroom with soaker tub. Loved the sitting windows too. Just perfect! Restaurant food was just okay but good experience. Truly a fantastic stay. Thank you! Blessings!

Had there been northern lights we would have been in the best place to see them! We had the family room which was very spacious. The restaurant food was fabulous! We were here to do the ice caves and diamond beach, both were just 20 minutes away,
