We will stay here again because, overall, it was fun… an adventure BUT I want to let others out there know what you’re getting into! This is NOT a luxury hotel. It’s not trash…. It’s like partly “roughing it”! There is NO air conditioning! I would NOT stay here in the hotter months. ONLY stay cooler months because it’s not comfy to sleep if too hots we lucked out only one night was over muggy. Also, beds SUCK! They are not comfortable at all. The staff speaks broken English. Be patient with them. They do try their best to help, but a few of them were a little rude. The bartender was very nice and one waitress we have helped us learn a few words in Mayan (her family didn’t want her to forget their language). They do shut electricity off part of the day. You come here to UNPLUG not to work or receive calls. They claim the shut down is to be eco-friendly. I think they should invest in solar panels and battery back up! Food at restaurant was very good. I loved my steak dinner! Amazing! Pool could be cleaner and bar at pool serves LIMITED drinks (beer and water). They should have full bar in my opinion. Be sure to reserve your shuttle from airport! It’s SUPER close to the park! Hired a private guide for our tour that hotel arranged. That was nice! They do keep beds and rooms clean. No bugs really (just a few). Wish they had extra fans in room rather than just the ceiling fan. Would have helped. Bring a flash light or lantern as that will help also! Don’t use up phone battery!

We were really looking forward to our stay here. The hotel itself is beautiful and is a unique experience. Something you will not get in Los Angeles. I will address the pros first because it was not all bad. The location is convenient, within the park so you are really sleeping in the jungle. The "relaxing sounds" are real life from hearing the birds throughout the night from the monkeys in outrage. The best! hotel is beautiful, gives you a real jungle feeling from the lobby to the rooms. The restaurant was good from the food to the staff. the restaurant and the bar had the best customer service. Elizabeth, the bartender was exceptional and I truly appreciate her customer service. She should work the reception actually. Now the receptionists service was so poor we did not get to enjoy how beautiful it all was. I tried calling and messaging the hotel 48 hours in advance to secure transportation with no response only to be told later I had a "weird" flight and they couldn't accommodate me. I could go on and on with details but I wont. No need. the point is that for this being a high end hotel and high tourist attraction the level of hospitality is poor and that did hinder the experience for me and my family.

Lovely place. Exquisite comfort amongst ancient temples and rain forest. Our cabin had a an outdoor hot tub and a family of monkeys passed by overhead while I was sitting in it. It was incredible.

Awesome experience within walking distance of main Tikal ruins. Being woken up by birds and the monkeys was an awesome experience for my kids.

Exceeded our expectations. Was very clean. Great service. Had great restaurant, bar, and game room for the kids. Plus a pool to cool off in after touring the archeological site. Right at the entry to the site making it convenient for the sunrise and sunset add-on’s. Nice to wake up and hit the park before the tour groups arrive.
