The property was right next to the airport which was very convenient, but they do not provide free airport shuttle. The taxis charge around $12 for 2 people and anything extra is up to the taxi driver.
The property is very clean and has beach access, but the beach is very rocky. There isn't too much flat area for young kids.
The all-inclusive food was very disappointing. They didn't have too many choices, especially for vegetarians and it was the same set of food options.

I had an amazing time at the Royalton. Gus specifically was very friendly and accommodating. He greeted us every day and made sure we were having a great time. Ernell at the souvenir shop was also extremely friendly, efficient and helping in resolving an issue I had. All of the staff at the spa were amazing and inviting and all of the bartenders were friendly and welcoming. It was my friends birthday and the staff celebrated her daily at breakfast , lunch and dinner. I can’t wait to bring g my family back

You will not have a luxury experience at Royalton Granada. Although the grounds are beautiful and there's a lot of activities offered (especially for families) the service here is lacking. The people who work here generally work long hours and are underpaid and it shows in the lack of service, helpfulness, kindness, etc. They treat you like a job where they do the bare minimum.
PROS: The pools and beach are beautiful and spacious. The food is pretty good. The rooms are modern and clean. There's lots of activities.
CONS: The restaurants on the property are always full and you can't make a reservation. The service is slowww and not proactive. To go off property by taxi will cost a minimum of $40 USD roundtrip to go just within a 10-min drive. Alternative is a bus. The spa service is incredibly expensive. In general, no one is helpful. If something goes wrong, which it will there, there's no action taken to remeditate the issue. You will recieve a "sorry" and that's it. There was ONE helpful person there in security named Shaq, who went out of his way to find my lost hat.
TIP: Nirvana spa has much more affordable services.
Dodgy Dock is fun on Wednesday nights.

My family and I visited Grenada recently and stayed at the Royalton. Kennisha Williams from dining services made our stay extra special. She is hospitable, has a smile that lights up the room, pays attention to detail, and makes you feel like home. From the time we were seated she brought my mom's favorite tea, and a mimosa for me. This lady takes pride in her job and is a credit to the Royalton. She embodies the Royalton's high standards for excellence in service. We would definitely stay there again.

At the beginning of this stay, there were some unnecessary issues with our room. I was quite disappointed but decided to speak with the front desk re resolution of these issues. I was most surprised with the expediency in handling the issues we had. The front desk personnel was great (Shaniel), for a speedy check-in. The quality control manager (Nicolette) reached out to us that same night and promised that the remaining issues would be dealt with first thing in the morning. And they were. Our trip was part of a birthday celebration, and along with the great customer service we were already receiving, we received a complementary bottle of wine, and birthday cake complete with a song from two of the butlers. Overall the customer service was excellent, from Jovanna at the kids club, the diamond club bar attendants, all the front desk personnel, all the butlers and other staff, Cleveland at the main buffet, Richardo in Entertainment coordination, but extra special mention must be made to Lindon the butler. Our last stay in April, he showed us excellent service. I never expected less this time around, but I didn't expect it to be better, but it was. He himself fixed some of the issues we had, he checked in with us regularly to make sure that our stay was as good as can be. He made towel animals for my son's birthday. Overall the issues did not overshadow the stay. We had a great time and will be back again soon.
Thanks to everyone for making my son's birthday great once again.

We had the best 7 day stay here. Firstly the service at every corner of the resort was amazing. Everyone tried their best to ensure that you had what you needed . Special shout-out to Della and Rochelle who made my kids feel so special every single day! Fun entertainment especially the foam party my 3 year old is still talking about it. Food was good in the buffet we did not try the Indian or French restaurant. Rooms were small but very comfortable and was very well kept. One complaint we had 2 adjoining rooms and one of the ACs were out having that during some of the hottest days in Grenada was tough. They did offer to switch the room however that would mean separating from grandkids and that would not work for us so we opted to deal with the hot room :( we did take advantage of room service for the kids during the few hours that the buffet was closed Not many options but enough to fill in the gap for the kids. We stayed with 2 very small kids and they had a blast there was a small splash area for the kids downstairs the pool and a kids club. Overall highly recommend staying here. Huge plus it’s 5 minutes or less from the airport!

I will say that the staff at Royalton is very kind and helpful. It is a family friendly resort and my son enjoyed himself. They have a shop where you can get icecream, hot drinks and treats. They have entertainment every night that everyone can enjoy. The room I had was nice, it was an ocean view. They just need to update the place more. I dont know why, but they had an overflux of flies all over the place. I know we cant stop them completely, but they can be controlled especially in the dining area. The rooms should at least have a microwave or have 1 in each area for guest to use. The coffee pots need to be cleaned well after every guest and there should be an iron in every room. The food I have mixed reviews. Some nights weren't good. We had to travel to local shops for food. By time you get back to your room, the food is cold and you cant heat it up. I like the Royalton because it's literally a 2 minute drive from the airport or an 8 minute walk, but who wants to walk in that heat. I would visit again because who doesn't love the Caribbean.
