ELIVI Skiathos

The staff, beaches, position of hotel were first class. However the hot food at breakfast was always cold. This is something that has been highlighted by previous visitors for months but has obviously not been addressed. Cold fried eggs, bacon, mushrooms etc. The other issue is our pool. We had a nest grove junior suite with pool. The pool was not circulating water constantly like the pools around us. The filters were not emptied and full of bugs. The staff tried to assure us the pool was safe even though the water wasn’t circulating which I feel is not true at all. Consequently it wasn’t very clean. Overall I felt the hotel staff were fabulous but the food wasn’t. There wasn’t a children menu either and very little around the hotel for children to do even though it’s advertised as child friendly. However, the nest grove rooms are very close to the beautiful Banana beach so that compensates for it.

Beautiful views, great breakfast, quiet rooms. They should have a smoke free outdoor dining area though.. especially because of the children staying there!

Views are exquisite, best on the Island and the setting for the hotel cannot be faulted. However, The kids club isn’t quite as advertised online and doesn’t always happen. Service could be better.

Excellent location with great beaches surrounding the hotel. Being a family with 2 kids (5 and 3) we were pleased to stay in Grace beach front rooms with private pool. The beach was amazing, providing you privacy (in comparison with Koukounaries and Banana) and relaxing atmosphere. Needless to say the convenience we had being 10 seconds from our room. Beach bar was overall ok, with good staff. Private pool of the room was quite small and over clorinine... Breakfast had plenty of choices (even for me that I have kefir for breakfast) and variates. Very good, matching with a five star hotel. We had dinner in the Italian which was value for money, but not something extraordinary in terms of food. Our neighbours had dinner to the Japanese restaurant and their experience was of great quality food but to expensive. We visited once, banana beach and it was quite crowded and we left after a couple of hours (if you are couple without childrens it might be nice). Overall, very relaxing holidays where you can recharge your batteries and spend quality time with your family. Some negatives aspects (i.e. cleaning) will be fixed in due time since the hotel has two years of operation and it's new. Overall,
