Iliovasilema

An unpretentious family-run hotel that gets everything right. Quiet rooms with comfy beds and good bathrooms. Tasty breakfast and a pool big enough to be worthwhile. Located close to a sandy beach and a 20 minutes walk from the harbour and busy restaurants. Only criticism: if you have a room without a balcony, there’s nowhere to dry your beach towels, costumes and washing.

Iliovasilema is a gem of a hotel wonderfully situated in Naxos town. The hotel is family run and managed with lots of love and care. We really enjoyed our stay thanks to Maria at the front desk who was very kind and extremely helpful. She guided us to the top restaurants, bars, and beaches around the island. The hotel is perfectly located for walking through the entire town. We were able to easily walk to anywhere we wanted to go. The rooms were clean and well maintained and the pool area is lovely when you are not out exploring the island. I also loved relaxing on the second floor sitting area around sunset when everything was still and quiet. There is free parking right around the corner from the hotel which is a huge perk considering how difficult it would be to park in town otherwise. I would stay here again when traveling to Naxos.
