Stavros Villas

Fantastic stay thanks to Mr. Stavros and staff. It was like visiting your own family, luxury style.

We arrived by ferry and Stavros himself picked us up at the port in what looked like a brand new, comfortable air-conditioned 10+ passenger van (reasonable additional charge). He took the time to tell us about Santorini and suggest things to see/do. He made sure we liked our room. He or a family member were usually at the front desk. Otherwise, he was nearby and just a phone call away. We stayed too busy to use the pool but he kept it beautifully chrystal clear. I don't usually spend time in the pool anywhere I go because I want to enjoy whatever sightseeing there is but his pool was very tempting. The internet worked but don't expect to upload lots of pics. It was functional for researching things for our time after Santorini. The location is convenient but I suggest renting a car or ATV which we did. It allows for more time/flexibility to explore without walking and waiting at bus stops. The local buses though, are beautiful new luxury motor coaches. We rode one once after hiking Fira to Oia to get back to our ATV in Fira. Stavros dropped us at the airport for our flight out (again, additional but reasonable fee) and hugged us both goodbye. If I ever return to Santorini, I will stay at Stavros Villas again. His warm Greek hospitality made us feel like guests in his home but with the privacy of a hotel.

The hotel room was very clean, which was very important. My family of four had plenty of space in the hotel room. The pool was very nice and roomy. The owners were very sweet and kind; and they took great care in making all the guests feel comfortable. The hotel was a shortly ride from Fira where there is lots to see and do. There were guests from all over the world staying at Stravos Villas. I would definitely stay there again.
