Blue Horizon

This place was phenomenal. It’s location is right in front of the beach and includes chairs and umbrellas. It seems to be a small family run business and they were all so kind and outgoing. It’s a short (less than 5 minute) and easy walk to the port restaurants and stores or can stay on beach front and eat there. If I ever get the opportunity to return to Crete, I would definitely be staying at this place.

Maria and family are so friendly and accommodating. We had great communication prior to arrival and were greeted by Maria on arrival. Maria gave us great recommendations for restaurants and explained the amenities of the hotel. The beds were comfortable and rooms are very spacious. The shower had great pressure and the partial sea view from our private balcony was exceptional especially during sunset. There is a lovely 2nd floor terrace to enjoy the sea view and is where you will eat the delicious breakfast in the morning. We wish we had spent more time at the hotel and would definitely stay here again if we are able to return to this slice of heaven.

It was a perfect location where the beach is just a few steps away. The hotel provides beach chairs and umbrellas as part of their service and we had a delicious breakfast included on the rooftop of the hotel with a view of the beach. We arrived later than check in and they provided instructions in an email on our room number and WiFi and how to get into our room. The room was spacious, had a couch, a very cute balcony and kitchenette. The town is small, very charming and very lively at night. the hotel is within walking distance of pretty much everything. We loved our stay and would recommend it to not only couples but families as well.
