Azur Hotel

Azur Hotel is a boutique hotel in what appears to be a very new property. The hotel has very modern architecture, with lots of glass, trendy furniture and artwork, and plants to hide fences with neighboring properties. I stayed with my family in two separate rooms for two nights. I found the rooms to be small, and the full size bed made things cozy. Bathrooms were also on the small side. Both were very clean and continued the modern theme of the hotel architecture. Breakfast buffet was excellent, though some coffee drinks were an extra charge. Hotel pool is nice, but very small, essentially just large enough to get wet and hang out, but not large enough for any swimming for exercise. Hotel lounges were very nice, with deep thick cushions. Many guests would get drinks at the end of the day and lounge by the pool before going to dinner. Staff were extremely friendly and service-oriented, especially the hotel manager who was frequently available in the reception. The hotel was very generous with towels to take to the beach, and allowed us to shower after going to the beach on our final day, long after checkout. My kids (16 and 21) really liked the Azur, appreciating its modern feel and friendly staff. My wife and I (mid-50s) were less happy, and would have liked larger rooms and a bigger pool. Hotel is close to beaches, but a far walk from restaurants. Taxis are plentiful and can be used to get to the restaurant zone.
