Athens Tower Hotel by Palladian Hotels

We stayed with kids in the largest room with 2 beds and 2 bedrooms overlooking Acropolis. The room and breakfast were amazing!

You really can walk to the main Athenian sites, even with children who get tired easily. The Acropolis: just look up and walk towards it!! The Agora, Roman forum, Hadrian’s library and the bath house are all really close by. There is a metro station literally opposite the entrance for visits further away. (Write down the stop and direction beforehand, staff are happy to help.) A little bit of noise at night from a nearby nightclub, but it wasn’t a problem as there were also shops and a bakery still open at 1am. Our plane was delayed and our son was hungry, so an absolute bonus!

Everything was top notch! - except for 2 things: 1. - no place to hang towels in the bathroom, nothing. 2. - No door to the shower stall, only that half wall glass, and the open space to walk in. Then they have a sprayer there that if it's turned towards the wrong space when you open the valve, you can get water spraying right into the main hotel room if the door is open (When you are bathing children for example). This lack of a door also causes the spray of the shower to drain into the main bathroom area floor and you will get a flooded/puddled floor outside the shower area. Such a nice hotel, newly renovated - blows my mind how several of these very simple, easy-to-do things have not been implemented!

Great place to stay. Our family of 6 enjoyed our time and slept very well every night. It was quiet and comfortable.

We stayed two nights before our cruise began in Athens. The reviews six months ago said the breakfast was terrible. They must have greatly improved their breakfast, because we enjoyed it both mornings. The room was clean, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a Sunset dinner and drinks on the rooftop. They were very accommodating to our family and friends that strolled in at different times. I would recommend staying at this hotel.

The hotel is in a very good position to access most of the locations you want to visit in Athens, but if you want to sleep before 3am then forget about it. It overlooks Monastiraki square that is where a lot of rooftop bars are and those blast loud music until early morning. On top of that there was a constant sound of drums being played by a group in the middle of the square...don't get fooled by the double glazed windows...they are unable to stop the noise. Do not book this hotel if you have a child...it will drive them and you mad in a couple of days for lack of sleep.

There are some very polarizing reviews of the hotel online. Our room was a junior suite with Acropolis view. The room was clean, updated, comfortable bed. Washroom/shower worked well and were updated The sound concern is real however. You can easily hear people in the hallway and in the busy streets. The location is phenomenal but if a quiet room is important this is something to be aware of

Great loaction with a fantastic rooftop bar/restaurant with the most amazing view to Akropolis. Rooms are newly renovated - we had a family room. Very friendly staff at the reception - they were always very helpful. We will absolutely come back to this hotel again.

1 night stop before a cruse with my family. This hotel is in the perfect location . The roof top bar had amazing views. It located in the heart of the city center. The only issue I had was that i did not get any sleep that night from the music outside. it was on until 5 am.
