Great place to stay. Spend two nights with my family before sailing off for a cruise and one more night once back. Family room very spacious. Good breakfast. Staff very nice and helpful. Elly (at the reception) is a star, she is very helpful and amazing with kids!

My family and I enjoyed a three-night stay at this hotel. The room was clean and secure, and the location couldn't have been better, with everything within walking distance. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely return to this hotel, especially for the delicious breakfast!

Modern amenities in heart of older area with easy access to historic sites, transportation and restaurants. However the single best attribute is the the caring,friendly,exceptionally competent , knowledgeable and near family like staff. Truly amazing people - I wish I could remember all the individual names. Made me feel like I was at a family home, helping me with tours , transport etc. Breakfast was fabulous as well

The location of Athens Lodge is the main reason we booked the hotel. The hotel room was clean. However, being in middle of Athens close to the busiest area meant the room was on the smaller side. It was designed to maximize space but still felt less functional. Elevator can fit only 2 people. The biggest gripe was that the shower stall was made of glass so if you are traveling with family, it is awkward. We had to take turns taking the kid out of the room while the other freshened up. So this would work for couples but not families. Breakfast was good and the space felt very modern.

This property was super clean, modern and comfortable. Having breakfast included was great! There were so many cafe’s, restaurants and in the area. It was walkable to lots of the main squares, historical sites and shopping. This was an amazing area to stay. Don’t be put off by the graffiti. It’s everywhere in Athens. They leave the historical sites alone interestingly enough! I would recommend this place to anyone. Including people with kids.

Stayed in April with my family, the hotel was clean and the staff friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was great. Hotel is very well situated for all the sights of Athens, would recommend!

We loved our short stay. The staff were very welcoming, giving lots of advice and things to see and do locally. We had a 4th floor room, Delta...it was a family room at the back of the hotel. It was quiet and perfect. Another building is currently (Jan 23) being built behind so you have very little view, but it appears construction has stopped at least for a while. Breakfast is downstairs and was very nice with personalised service. Sadly the roof terrace was closed and not available during our stay.

Located in a relatively quiet street of the city - close to most of the historical sights that we wanted to visit. Take advantage of the rooftop at Athens Lodge. There is an amazing view of the Acropolis from there - especially at night, it was quiet and possibly the best part of the hotel. The room was great as well. We traveled as a family though and the shower situation was not as private as we would have liked.
