Airotel Parthenon

I had 4 rooms for a family vacation we all enjoyed our stay. Great breakfast, close to everything the rooms were clean but dated. Helpful staff I would stay here again great value for money.

First and foremost this property cannot be located in any better location if you plan on touring Central Athens. You are literally a five minute walk to the Acropolis. Plaka for food and shopping are also minutes away. As a family of 4 we needed two rooms, both were clean, well appointed with tea kettles (tea and instant coffee), plenty of towels, and working AC. The staff were extremely helpful and kind the many times we needed them. The included breakfast was more than adequate as well as tasty. Every floor has a central filtered water station that makes filling up water bottles a breeze along with a house filtered system that adds a little piece of mind. The street the hotel is located on is small, quiet, and will lit.. We found ourselves walking back to our rooms late at night on a couple occasions and we had no concerns or fears… We as a family agree, our next visit to Athens will include a stay at the Parthenon Hotel.

First stayed at this hotel as a kid 15 years ago and thought it was so nice. Came back 15 years later and it is still great! The hotel is clean and beautiful and the hotel staff are very kind and helpful. The breakfast offered has a very wide variety of food and each item is delicious! I would highly recommend this hotel!

I’ll start with the Pros: Our room was ready early so we got to relax a bit but then the problems started Cons: the shower switch came off, I laid down for a second and saw something on the wall moving, started screaming and we discovered a bed bug! Put it in a tissue and took it to the front desk where they promptly gave us a second room….we had already unpacked so we had to race to get out stuff back together and get to the next room now sad and scared The second room had no power due to rolling blackouts we were told because of the heat! We pulled the beds apart as we needed two and a giant childs sippy cup was under the beds and the floor in between the two was dirty and sticky. The toilet ran water constantly and was completely loud every 40 seconds to which the staff had no idea how to fix as they tried twice along with the power constantly going on and off, this shower however worked very well. More pros was the staff was trying to be helpful it was obvious they cared The breakfast was a nice start to the day The guys tried to help our drivers navigate as no tours or Ubers can find this hotel as the street is one way The Parthenon is a nice stroll away and restaurants line the Main Street We enjoyed our bowls of ice provided to fill our mugs as it’s HOT

room is spacious for our family of 3, delicious free breakfast, quite area, 5 mins walk to bus station to Fabrika town, bus runs every hour until 23:30
