First Inn Zwickau

Booked online 1hr before arrival at ca. 10pm in the evening. Were well received at the reception, rooms fine, parking recommendations fine. Shared a room with 2 twin beds in three persons (two kids / one adult). All clean and good - but honestly also little used by us as we were off to the next estination in the morning. Personal was overall very friendly and doing what I would call good service - and even a bit more - with a natural hosting service attitude. If anything to critizise, then it was breakfast - a standard buffet (not much not little) in a room with access to the terrace. The athmosphere in this room was not overwhelming - somehow close to a canteen - clean and simple, but lacking a bit of personal touch or cosyness...

Had a quiet clean room overlooking the courtyard. Bed was very comfortable with a choice of pillows. The location of the hotel is great, within walking distance of many good restaurants and bars, however the food in the hotel is also excellent. Also loved the suggested running routes to burn off all the calories even if I didn't get chance to explore them for myself on this trip. Will know for next time! The hotel is popular with business travellers, not sure how it would suit a family. Zwickau itself is a beautiful city which has preserved its medieval architecture and cobbled streets and as yet is mostly undiscovered by tourists.
