Hotel Excelsior

I arrived late at night (11pm) with my family. We were notified that car park is payable extra even though there was no such information in the description. I was ok with paying extra for the breakfast but again, I was overcharged, all in all original payment was €113 but in the end I paid €159. Breakfast was supposed to be €24 for one adult and two children, parking was supposed to be €14. It was late and I was with two children so I couldn’t get to the bottom of it and left it but I wouldn’t stay there again. Rooms spacious and enough beds. Carpet worn out throughout - loads of signs of wear and tear. Breakfast incl coffee not great, would be better to go to local cafe.

Booked a twin room and got a double bed, they changed our room to a family room with about 5 beds in it with nothing else but the beds and TV in the room. The shower had a horrible stink coming from the drain and the halls stank of food. Walls were paper thin and could hear other guests snoring and getting busy. Overall not bad

We couldn't get any contact with the reception before our stay. We want 2 babybeds but we didn't get any response by phone, email and contactform. Other people had reserved a babybed and there was no one. The room was clean and oke for that price. When we leaved, the elevator is very busy. We had waited 20 minutes before we can go to the parkzone. That was frustrated. The cleaners must use the same elevator.And there was only 1 for max. 6 persons.
