Holiday Inn Express Köln-Troisdorf, an IHG Hotel

The room is small for a family with 2 children, however the staff is very friendly and the buffet breakfast is good.

The breakfast is excellent! When we arrived at the hotel, they have already made the sofa bed for the kids. The room is a little small but it is fine for one night. Very conveniently located, right off the highway. Overall excellent value for the money.

I stayed two nights with my two teenage daughters and requested a room that sleeps 3 as advertised and I received the smallest hotel room I have been in .. even with a double bed it looked tight and they set up a sofa bed and there was hardly any space to put our small carry - on suitcases.. it was awful. A hotel room with no chair, tiny piece of wood mounted on the wall for your table.. The bathroom was clean but also too small. Usually when a hotel advertises a room for family it slightly bigger than a normal size but this one felt horribly small .. Their breakfast buffet was good The only thing around the hotel is à gas station with a subway and a McDonnals close by… Nothing else

Staff were fine although restaurant staff very moody. Sofa bed was falling apart and urgently needs replacing. Rooms very tiny for a family of 4

Really great hotel. Value for money. It’s very clean and modern. Our family and dog were very happy. Breakfast is ok, couldn’t ask for more for the price. We will come back!
