Residence Inn by Marriott Hamburg Altona

Nice and clean room. Super friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet. Walking distance to Ottensen Station and the Altona area wich is very cozy and family friendly.

Chosen based on the reviews and that it was modern. + Surprisingly nice cosy breakfast (bacon would have been 'icing on the cake') + Modern apartments with big roomy safe for the 15" laptop + Okay small gym with a good spinning bike, a tower and weights + Could use the coffee-machine at the restaurant all day (for free) + Well-received when checking in - Noisier than expected. Could hear everything from the hall (including crying babies at 7.00) - We were facing the street (2nd floor) and even with the new windows closed we could hear cars etc. from the street - No chance to opt out of cleaning with a sign on the door (the last day we were woken up at 7.00 by the cleaning guy...)
