Best Western Hotel am Spittelmarkt Berlin

We stay at the Best Western hotels most of the time, because it’s a good chain.But this one was awful. It was a heat wave ( 38) and we could feel it even in a hotel lobby.I was with a small kid and the staff wasn’t checking us in during 2 hours. They couldn’t find our booking confirmation (they said) and they didn’t even try to do so. I showed them Orbitz confirmation, my bank statement that I was charged and asked to check us in and even charge me next morning on check out if the confirmation will not come. Something like this never happened to us before. It took me 2 hours and tons of calls to make them finally check us in. Surreal. On top of everything I missed my business meeting and the air conditioner stopped working in the middle of the night. Here are the names of the receptionists who don’t know how to do their job: Mr Riedel and Mr Leemhuis.
