Louisa's Place

At Louisa's Place, I got the feeling of home. One of the great experiences i've had at hotels in Europe was at LP. Two beautiful ladies at the reception that always offered a smile, Ms Jennifer and Ms Linda. They made sure that our stay was a comfortable one as I was with my wife and 3 boys. Also the gentlemen at the reception did not hesitate to offer any help when needed (sorry I didnt get your names guys). Facilities offered at the hotel were a plus as the swimming pool was fairly sized for a short leisure swim with the kids during weekends, when everything is closed. Housekeeping was a breeze, they came in and cleaned the two bedroom suite in no-time. As for shopping and restaurants, they are minutes away. You can reach the main shopping district by bus (a few stops away) or by foot in 25 minutes. For grocery head to Edeka Adenauerplatz (less than a 5 min walk) or Lidl (around 15 minutes walk). Overall, i would call my hotel choice in Berlin a success.

Stayed in the hotel for 7 nights, with 2 small children. Such a great hotel! The room is very big and comfortable. Very clean, was cleaned daily. We stayed in a room with a balcony that overlooked a very nice garden. The staff is wonderful. Very friendly and always trying to help and make you feel welcome. Both at the restaurant and the reception. The breakfast is very tasteful. We liked it very much. Ate breakfast at the hotel every day, even though it cost us extra. The location is great also. Right in the heart of the most famous street in Berlin. A minute walk from the metro, that can take you anywhere you want to go. Overall, a wonderful stay. I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Corporate, sterile hotels make me cringe. Louisa's Place was just the opposite. Needing to use your room key to enter the front lobby, with a freshly appointed sitting area just across, made me feel like I was entering my own home. The pool area was fantastic for a morning or evening swim followed by a refreshingly hot and clean steam bath. My week-long stay was restful, even though I was there on business, because the junior suite kitchen that allowed for breakfast in-room with great coffee supplied by the hotel. Room service was prompt when needed. The hotel staff was eager to ensure a positive stay. Also valued the proximity to the underground and bus lines. Easily able to travel by public transport to all parts of the city and Potsdam (bike excursion there).
