NH München Airport

It took 5 rooms to find one that 1) didn't stink from the mini-fridge 2) didn't smell like mold/mildew 3) had a working air conditioner. When we finally were in a room that had a moderately working A/C, it only barely cooled down and was a miserable experience. All of these rooms were "family rooms" on the 4th floor. The front desk acted like each room with an issue was "news" to them, however, when the head of housekeeping finally came to our floor 1.5hrs into our booking, she told us she new about all of the issues and "some rooms the a/c works, other rooms it does not." :( We were given comp tickets for their dinner buffet which consisted of over-cooked meat and bland rice/potatoes. I will not stay at an NH hotel again.

We did online check-in a day early to expedite the process since we knew we'd be arriving late. I chose the room in advance, but it wasn't available when we arrived. We had to wait 30 minutes for another room, which was horribly smelly. The room was also very cold because they had the air conditioning on full blast with a fragrance to mask the smell. I went downstairs to request another family room but was told none were available. Back in the room, the odor was still unbearable, so I returned to the reception. Finally, we were given two rooms. It's clear now that they knew there was an issue with the original room but tried to give it to us anyway. I had to go to the reception twice to get a reasonable solution. It's a shame we lost an hour because they didn't offer an alternative room despite knowing there was a problem.

My family and I had an early flight and the hotel was convenient to the airport. It was comfortable and worked well for a one night stay before flying out.

Great place to stay with family! Kids loved the bunk beds. Convenient shuttle service to airport that almost runs around the clock. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. Can't wait to return!

Great location near the airport. The outside of hotel is deceiving. The inside is very nice and the rooms are great. The pretzels and gummy’s in the lobby were a hit with my kids. Would definitely stay again if/when traveling via Munich airport.

Expedia website states “free shuttle” but the hotel charges 5 Euro per person for the 20 min airport shuttle ride to the hotel. For a family of 5, better to take a cab for 30 Euro each way.

Nice, new facilities, good pricing for a family. But my family (3 children under 5) had to wait 45 min. after a long day of travel at after 10 pm at night to check in because of poor staffing. Also, housekeeping could stand to be a bit more circumspect....small things...but things like no hand soap refilled, dusty around appliances, etc.
