We stayed at Alte Post for a night, to visit Ludwig II castle Linderhof. A lovely Bavarian town, and lovely Bavarian hotel. We had a studio, with two floors and a balcony, great travelling with kid we had a lot of fun at the room going up and down the stairs. Hotel is a nice mix of new and rustic, good restaurant and breakfast, and friendly staff. And Linderhof is just beautiful! I can recommend the place for anyone exploring this area!

We loved this hotel, run by a family who have owned it for generations, it is a traditional old guest house with spacious comfortable rooms and an excellent breakfast. Staff were also very helpful.
