Klostergasthof Roggenburg

Great place to stay with your family. Rooms were spacious enough. Staff was very helpfull. The portions in the restaurant are gigantic! Loved the home made jams @breakfast. There's alsof a little shop that Sells all the home made goods and spirits. We left the place with a Well stocked trunk 😉

Our Hotel reservation was a last minute decision for an overnight stay, after spending the day at LEGOLAND Germany. The hotel is located in a small rural village surrounded by rolling farmlands and orchards. The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The room was clean, quiet, but a little cramped for a family of 4 with 2 teenagers, but fine for a one night stay. The bed and roll-away bed were both comfortable. The evening we arrived, we sat under the canopy of a small orchard of their outdoor restaurant. We ordered a cheese plate and drinks as a lite evening snack. What they brought us was a large platter of cheeses, breads, and grapes. There was so much food we asked people join us. It was a great opportunity to meet other guests and make new friends. It was one of most remembered evening on our 3 week vacation. The morning breakfast was fresh and delicious. If we come to this part of Germany again, we plan to stay at the Klostergasthof Roggenburg hotel longer, but in two rooms. Maybe just one room and leave the kids at home.

Room is very good, big and comfortable. Breakfast was very poor. It cost 9 euro person and child 4 euro person. Its not worth it. Same case is dinner. Fish was very bad. Child food was ok.

Very nice Hotel in a small village near to a beautiful little church. Nice people and very children friendly.

Enjoyable . Great cathedral in the former monastery to visit. Small nice play ground for kids

Charming hotel! We stayed here as it is only 20 minutes away from LEGOLAND. Very quiet with a lovely garden to sit and have a drink while the kids played in the playground right beside us. Room super clean and comfortable. Kids had 2 single cots brought in and they slept so well. We had breakfast included and it was very nice. The kids ate free as a part of the room fee and our breakfast was 7 euro each. view from our room was over the dinner patio and out onto endless fields and a sunset. Perfect. The area around the hotel is beautiful and if you have time, wander around. There is a little supermarket where we bought some bread and cheese and things for the road and a delicatessen which had lots of yummy things. Parking is free and right on site. I would recommend this hotel to anyone in the area. so lovely!
