Probably one of the best hotels we have been to and we travel quite a bit. Friendly staff. Beautiful room. Fantastic view. Amazing breakfast selection. Play area for the kids. Definitely a 10 out of 10.

The hotel is laid out like a village and was great for a family with young kids, Staff are nice and friendly, Pool and kids playground are both great to have. The sofa bed was possibly the least comfortable "bed" we have ever slept on, they should provide a light mattress to use over it as it's like sleeping on a wooden table. The Bar is very small and quiet so not perhaps for those looking for any kind of social vibe. Location is a nice scenic 15 min walk from main town centre and has nice view over the valley and Mountains.

There were no elevators going to rooms on the higher floors. No porters - we came with 2 little kids and were given a room furthest from the reception. We lugged 3 pieces of luggage to these rooms along with the kids Staff was not child friendly- nowhere else in Germany do we have to pay for milk for the baby. Paying is not a problem and we’re on to do that, but here, even after paying $4 they gave us a less than 8iz portion.

Clean and very roomy. But dated, matress old and uncomfortable. Was probably a wonderful place 20 years ago, nice now but needs an update. Great for large family groups, and in a great location for Zugspitze.

While the location of the hotel is fantastic and boasts superb external facilities such as a beautiful pool and table tennis, I must admit that it felt quite overpriced. We opted for a 'deluxe' suite, which cost us 340 euros per night. The suite had three rooms and comfortably accommodated five people. However, except for the two recently renovated bathrooms, the furniture and sofa covers seemed outdated, giving it a slightly underwhelming feel. The doors were noisy, and to make matters worse, we discovered that the key to the toilet door was missing, making it impossible to lock. The room fell short of my higher expectations. Moving on to dinner, the only option available was a rather expensive buffet priced at 37 euros per adult (half for children). The buffet mainly consisted of grilled meats that were not particularly flavorful, along with sauces, potatoes, and vegetables—nothing too different from a home-cooked meal. On a positive note, the dessert selection, featuring small cakes and fruits, was delightful. One of the highlights of our stay was the great pool, providing a refreshing experience. Additionally, the continental breakfast offered was outstanding.

Gorgeous stay at this hotel! At the bottom of the hill we could catch the bus into town with the tickets provided by the hotel and use them for the duration of our stay. Awesome Mountain view from our terrace and the room was perfect for our family of 5. Plenty of space and the surrounding nature and views were breathtaking. Had a great meal our first night there at the hotel restaurant buffet with German foods(delicious) and the staff were very friendly and helpful! I’d definitely stay there again. We were bummed the pool was closed but maybe next time! Thanks for a great stay, we will be back!

Upscale hotel with underground tunnel system connecting buildings and spa/pool. Abundant breakfast. Beautiful grounds. Spacious room (more than we expected!) including kitchenette. Very responsive and helpful staff. Family friendly our kids loved the pool, rooftop sunning area, and playground! We would definitely stay here again.

location is really good, and the green surroundings make it quiet and relaxing. the personnel is very service oriented, and the food in the restaurant was suprisingly good! the menu was a bit boring standard, which is understandable for the kind of hotel it is, but the food was generous portions and very tasty! and the breakfast was absolutely amazing, so much local choice and nice things to choose from. the room was ok, but outdated bavarian, the mattress was a bit worn off, and the bath seemed renovated but bland white tile. the toilet, this was weird.. was so low, that it seemed to be kids friendly, but it was not pleasant. I very much appreciated the sauna, the pool, it is really nicely done, top quality, and not very crowded so we had a great wellness evening. in all due to the state of the room, I have to say the price was a bit high, the great breakfast did balance that a bit but with the room state, I would say the value for money was not quite there.
