Hotel Europäischer Hof Heidelberg

The attention to detail is impressive at this beautiful old hotel. Apparently it is the only family owned large hotel in Heidelberg and the fact that we met the owners when wandering the halls, shows their involvement, along with the manager who frequents each breakfast. The location is very convenient and it is a very special and charming place to stay.

An Outstanding hotel. We were greeted at the door by a Mr. Fuchs when we arrived and he could not have been more friendly, professional and helpful! He was helpful with dining suggestions, where to go and what to see in town. A great start to our visit at a beautiful old hotel that has history, style and great staff. We were three adults and the hotel upgraded us to a larger room which was excellent! The room, the service, the facilities and location were all excellent! this was the nicest hotel of the 8 we stayed at during our 2 week tour of Europe. The family that owns this hotel has every right to be proud of the staff, the beautiful building and the great facilities. If you find yourself in Heidelberg, treat yourself to a first class family hotel that has been up and running since 1865.

I was in Heidelberg for business and also brought my family. The hotel was in a lovely old building about a 10 minute walk from the train station and near the historical old city. The staff were all excellent - very friendly and helpful - with high quality service throughout our stay. The rooms are quite nice. with an quirky upscale feel to them. Breakfast was outstanding. Our only issue was the faint smell of cigarette smoke in the room.

there is only one word describe this hotel : great 1- perfect location. 2- very nice staff all the staf the owner,her family, and her staff gives you the feeling that your are a special gust in your friend house. 3- breakfast excellent. 4- interconnected rooms which is perfect for families. every thing is great every one in this hotel smile and ready to give you any help you need, sure i will be back to this hotel in my next visit to the city
