The experience was very good. The hotel is very well located especially if you want to explore both Alsace and Black Forrest. It is ideal for families with children. Rooms are big and comfortable. The village is cute.

Hotel is located in quite town of Oberkirch. Winding roads and hills all around with nearby mountains make it great getaway. The hotel staff are friendly and speak english if you like. We were able to get one room for all five of our family for a reasonable price which is hard to do in Europe. Excellent full breakfast in the morning. We ate in the evening as well and they have a great menu. Day we left, we drove up to the castle ruins that we could see from our balcony view.

Fine Hotel. As family with 3 older kids we did have a wondefull time with a fine Family room. Breakfast was top!

Nice family room with one large space that includes a double bed and a sofa bed and a small room with two single rooms. On the night of arrival the hot water did not work, but it was fixed early morning so we were able to take showers before the day. Please note that they not have one family room - the description in hotels.com is misleading.
